Saying Goodbyes too soon?

It's finally come to that time, ladies and gentlemen, where I can no longer log into SecondLife. It's a sad day.

I've been taking a break off SL and have been re-involved in the fabulous World of Warcraft. SecondLife lost it's charm with the constant crashing and lag spikes, not to mention the lack of people roaming the once-regularly popular grid. This has been a long time coming, but it's time for me to throw in the towel until technology halts for a brief period in time. My computer can't even open the official viewer anymore without it just closing out and crashing. Updating every other day was a pet peeve of mine, as well as the long-wait times of mesh-loading and inventory errors.

It's a bit sad to put SL aside for now, but I have no other choice if I can't even log on. All of my friends within secondlife have moved on as well, so I guess it's okay to abandon an application that just made me feel like I was in another first life. I could easily log in via Metabolt, but what's the point of logging in a text viewer when you get so used to creating content and textures in SL? None whatsoever.

Adieu for now, SL.

Maybe I'll blog about some WoW adventures? I'm not sure what to write here anymore for the time being. :)

Til next time,

Markiz
